WEBSITE COVID-19 UPDATE
AutoTech is continuing to operate as an essential business, to support our customers, work providers and all those who may need our assistance during these unprecedented times. We are constantly keeping up with the government guidelines and provide social distancing, additional hygiene measures and ensuring we care for our people and customers diligently.
We are operating predominantly from our AutoTech ARC Ltd site, with temporary closures of our Slough, Reading and High Wycombe sites and a reduced workforce across the group.
AutoTech ARC Ltd will organise any logistics if your vehicle is normally covered by our Slough, Reading or High Wycombe sites once contact has been made.
Under these COVID-19 circumstances, a damaged vehicle can be a challenging inconvenience and we will be working to provide the best service possible during this unprecedented situation. Having been notified of your need for a repair, we will contact you to gain a deeper understanding of the mobility of the vehicle, the damage and the repair required, for some customers we may ask for you to send in pictures through a specific link which we will send you. This is to help us support you with restricting the need for social contact and to ensure we can obtain the parts for the vehicle. Parts are beginning to be in short supply for some manufacturers and we will need to have the parts delivered prior to bring your vehicle on site for the majority of vehicles, to ensure you have the best service we can offer. Vehicles that are unsafe to drive or immobile will be dealt with following as normal process with the additional hygiene and social distancing practices in place.
We hope you will understand that with customers and some of our workforce having to self-isolate we will need to prioritise our repairs and our courtesy car fleet, we will also be looking to support all government deemed emergency services as a priority should they need our services.
For some of our customers following the government guidelines such as working from home or self-isolation you may be able to consider if you could manage without a courtesy car for the duration of your repair.
